About this camp

Kids Science Labs Science Academy 2026 Camps offer hands-on STEM experiences designed to ignite curiosity and foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in young scientists. Campers engage in real science experiments, design inventions, and tackle collaborative challenges daily. The curriculum focuses on applying scientific concepts to create real products and solve real-world problems. Through interactive adventures, students build prototypes, explore chemical reactions, and engage in creative engineering challenges. The camp aims to inspire the next generation of innovators by making learning exciting and accessible.

Specific themes include exploring surgical robots, prosthetic limbs, and AI-powered diagnostics in "Robot RX: The Future of Medicine," diving into food science, digestion, and nutrition in "Yum Lab: The Science of Food & You," and tackling survival challenges using design thinking to build prototypes of anti-slipping boots and protective parachutes in "Survival Science: Extreme Weather Engineers." Another theme, "Body Builders: Systems That Keep Us Alive!", allows young doctors to explore human anatomy and emergency medicine through hands-on experiments. These activities help children develop academic confidence and a deeper understanding of how the world works.

What a typical day looks like

A typical day involves an "Arrival & Activity Quest" with a problem of the day, followed by a hands-on science discovery class where campers engage with experiments and apply science to create a product. After a snack break, an innovation and creativity class allows students to apply science skills to real-world problem-solving, followed by an art & creativity studio, outdoor experience, and closing ceremonies.
