About this camp

Project Exploration's Summer STEM Camp offers students in grades K-8 an immersive, hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering, and math. The program emphasizes problem-solving and scientific inquiry through engaging projects that address community-based challenges. Students gain practical skills by working on diverse initiatives such as establishing and caring for a community garden, programming apps to connect community members with support services, engineering mask sanitizing devices, and designing data-informed outreach protocols. The camp aims to foster a lifelong love for learning in STEM, develop critical social and emotional skills like self-confidence and collaboration, and expose participants to various STEM careers.
