The Saint Ignatius Wolfpack Co-Ed Cross Country Camp offers a comprehensive training experience for both advanced and less experienced runners looking to prepare for the fall cross country season. Campers will receive instruction and supervision from the Saint Ignatius Cross Country coaching staff, with training personalized to individual abilities. The curriculum emphasizes proper running mechanics through drills, techniques, and video analysis. Participants will also gain knowledge in the physiology of training and exercise, nutrition, and racing psychology and tactics. The camp incorporates a variety of modalities, including endurance training, speed work, and tempo runs, with most runs taking place on the scenic lakefront path. Current Wolfpack varsity players assist in the camps, providing role models and opportunities to train alongside high school athletes.
