The UIC CHANCE STEM Academy – Engineering is a two-week intensive, in-person program designed to introduce incoming UIC engineering freshmen to the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The program focuses on providing a strong academic and social foundation for college success through math preparation sessions, writing workshops to enhance college-level communication and critical thinking, and academic skills development covering time management, study strategies, and goal setting.
